Behind the scenes
of Casa Maral

Behind the scenes

Franco-Brazilian, I lived 20 years in Congo-Brazzaville and South Africa, before arriving in Paris in 2009. After 10 years of career in prestigious communication agencies dedicated to travel and lifestyle industry, I founded Casa Maral in 2021.

Throughout my career I have worked for travel/lifestyle companies and National tourist boards from all over the world (hotels, airlines, GDS, tourist offices, etc.). Until now, I held the position of PR Account Director in Paris, within a leading communication agency specialized in the tourism sector. This position allowed me to develop a strong expertise in the Middle east and in the Indian Ocean; and to give relief to my previously acquired skills. Now, I am in perfect harmony between my job as a PR Account Director and the desire to create my own PR agency to support my clients, with the necessary hindsight and the requirement that it takes. In love with the sea, joyful colors and cultural mix, Casa Maral was born in Mauritius and keeps her ties with Paris. International background has always been a constant in my life and travel is a family story. My grandfather founded the ALLA Voyages's travel agency in 1920 in Meknes, Morocco. As for my parents, they arrived in Congo-Brazzaville in 1972 and have not left the country since. As a child, they took me on their trips and Mauritius was the rhythm of many seasons. The choice of Mauritius as a business location is also a professional one as I was in charge of press relations for the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) for three years when I last took up my post. I created links with professionals and entrepreneurs of the island who sincerely shared with me their vision of tourism and the hospitality industry... very inspiring personalities! Expatriate at heart and sensitive to unconventional travel, I wanted to return to the gates of Africa and be in the heart of the Indian Ocean for a lifestyle more in line with my nomadic values.
